More from our November road trip: Scott and I sing along with Neko Case’s “Set Out Running” all the time, so, naturally, we make a video.

In the department of recent acquisitions, we’ve added a new member to our little family of bear sculptures: the Molar Bear.

And our new lamp resembles an alien or a robot or maybe even a ninja.

For Christmas dinner I will make roasted vegetables as usual (this year’s planned variation: blue potatoes and brown sugar). I’ve been agonizing over buying one new lens for the Nikon or some furniture (more bookshelves are definitely in order) or saving for next year. I am on holiday from tomorrow and am pretty sure I won’t get done any of the things I plan to do. It’s still snowing, the snowplows and salt trucks out again with their blue flashing lights. But tomorrow it will rain, so it looks like we’ll have an ugly slushy Christmas this year.
