A new camera | 22 September 2007 ![]() I bought a bakelite & plastic twin-lens camera — a Spartus Full-Vue, made in Toronto — at an antique show last weekend. (I also bought a plate.) There was a roll of exposed film in the camera, a lot of gunk on the lenses, and a ruined mirror. I cleaned the lenses, although the mirror was hopeless, and all I need to do now is run one of the dozens of expired rolls of 120 in the fridge through it. But for now I am satisfied with looking through the ground glass viewfinder. <—– Previous: Jellyfish | Next: Hollow –—>
